Access to the World through Books and So Much More

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide friendly, convenient access to the world with books, materials, current technology, and programs for all ages in a safe and welcoming environment.

How Can YOU Be a Friend of the LIBRARY?

These are exciting times for the Stanley Library! The Friends of the Stanley Community Library Committee is working hard to help support and promote the Library. We work with Library staff and trustees to add events and programs to the Library's services. The group also designed the building, planned fundraisers, pursued grants, and more. We also created the Sawtooth Scenes photo calendar, on sale now at locations around the valley. All proceeds benefit the Library.

There are many ways to be a Friend of the Stanley Library. If your schedule doesn't allow for joining our committee, here are a few ideas:

  • Make a tax-deductible gift for books, services, or programs.
  • Donate to the Library. Click here to follow the story of the construction of our new library.
  • Donate gently used books.
  • Patronize our ongoing used book sale on the Community Center porch.
  • Buy the Library a magazine subscription.
  • Help with programs or fundraising events.
  • Volunteer your time at the Library.
